These terms apply to digital guides, recipe books, educational resources and other downloadable products purchased from The dogs kitchen
1. About These Poducts.
Digital products sold by The dogs kitchen are intended to provide general educational information about canine nutrition, feeding and wellbeing.
They are not a substitute for individual veterinary diagnosis, treatment or advice. If your dog has a diagnosed medical condition, is taking medication, has known allergies or intolerances, or you have concerns about their health, you should seek appropriate veterinary or professional advice before making significant changes to their diet.
2. Personal Use & Copyright
When you purchase a digital product from The dogs kitchen, you are purchasing a licence to use that product for your own personal, non-commercial use.
All written content, recipes, guidance, design and other original material remain the intellectual property of The dogs kitchen and/or Jo Heuston and are protected by copyright.
You may not copy, reproduce, share, distribute, publish, upload, sell, resell or otherwise make the product, or any substantial part of it, available to another person or business without prior written permission.
If someone you know would benefit from one of our resources, please direct them to The dogs kitchen to purchase their own copy.
3.Digital Delivery
Digital products are supplied electronically using the email address and/or access details provided at checkout.
Please ensure that your email address is entered correctly and check your spam or junk folder if your purchase does not arrive as expected. If you experience a problem accessing your purchase, please contact The Dog's Kitchen and we will be happy to help.
4. Immediate Access & Cancellation
Our digital products are designed to be supplied immediately following purchase.
Where you choose to receive immediate access to digital content during the statutory cancellation period, you will be asked to expressly consent to supply beginning immediately and to acknowledge that, once supply of the digital content has begun, you will lose your statutory right to cancel the purchase.
This does not affect your statutory rights where digital content is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not meet the requirements of applicable consumer law.
5. Refunds
Because downloadable digital products can be accessed immediately, a change-of-mind refund will not normally be available once supply has begun where you have expressly consented to immediate supply and acknowledged the loss of your cancellation right.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any statutory rights you may have under UK consumer law.
If you have purchased something in error or experience a problem with a product, please contact The dogs kitchen so that we can try to resolve the issue.
6. Nutritional Information
Every dog is an individual. Nutritional needs can vary according to factors including age, breed, body weight, activity, existing diet and health status.
General feeding suggestions contained within our educational resources should therefore be considered in the context of your dog's overall diet and individual needs.
Unless a product is specifically described as an individually formulated diet, purchasing a digital product does not create an individual nutrition plan for your dog.
7.Veterinary Care
Information contained within our digital products should not be used to diagnose illness or replace veterinary care.
If your dog is unwell, develops new or worsening symptoms, or you are concerned about their health, please contact your veterinary care team.
8. Accuracy & Updates
We take reasonable care to ensure that information is accurate and appropriate at the time of publication.
Canine nutrition and related scientific understanding continue to develop, and guidance may therefore be reviewed or updated over time.
